Volume I
Bring herbs into your daily life. This beautiful video is fun
to watch and informative. Dr. Tilgner covers a variety of plants
in their natural habitat in various seasons. As a budding herbalist,
you will quickly learn to identify and use these wonderful plants.
You'll see the whole plant, up close, and be able to identify
distinguishing characteristics. Your knowledge of how to use
the plants will grow quickly as food, medicinal and other uses
are discussed. As a novice you will appreciate Dr. Tilgner's
explanation on the proper way to collect different parts of the
plant to insure maximum vitality.
The more seasoned herbalist will find this tape a useful teaching
tool in classes and as an adjunct to herb walks. Health practitioners
will want to share this information with their clients. For persons
unable to go out in the field due to health or logistics, this
video is invaluable. More advanced persons will appreciate the
use of both common and Latin names. Whether you are just starting
out or helping others appreciate the plants around them, this
is a good place to rediscover your herbal roots.

essentials of making herbal preparations at home. Everyone will
benefit from the detailed explanations on identification and
plant usage.
See the whole plant up close and be able to readily identify
their distinguishing characteristics. Then follow the instructions
for making herbal products from the herbs you have just learned
about. For example, learn to make:
